Spring has sprung
6/25- Rockland ME Well it’s been a while since I checked in here and so I thought I would update what’s been happening. We got to Rockland around mid June and set to work getting Nutmeg ready for another campaign. We didn’t have a whole lot to do so we basically cleaned her up and enjoyed yard life for a while. We checked in with old friends and new and saw what was new in Rockland. The fun began when we were launched. The launching went well and we got all the sails on just in time for a big storm to hit. We sat all the next day in the wind and rain being tossed about like being in a washing machine. It was one way to get your sea legs. There were some 4 foot rollers cruising through the harbor that made cooking dinner a bit more exciting than normal. After things calmed down a bit we headed out for a sail up to Holbrook Island.
